This is a great little neighborhood that is removed from some of the more glitzy resorts and tourist-packed areas in Puerto Vallarta. Tourists are far and few between, except for the handful I recognized that lingered around the hostel we stayed at (Hostal El Oasis). A trip to Puerto Vallarta would not be complete with a stroll around this area of town. Cobble stone streets, wonderful nightlife, sidewalk cafes, and beautiful beaches combine to make this a very beautiful area. Imagine gay and gay-friendly spots all over the blocks of this colonia of PV. It is Mexican Castro, South Beach, Greenwich Village, Yonge, etc...
