After an exhausting ride through the jungle in an old WW II vintage bus over pot holes and rocks, we arive to see the "famous" remains of the helicopter from "Predator." YAWN. Still reeling from the diesel exhaust, next comes lousy cold food. We wait FOREVER, as hundreds of squaling screaming kids run by. Don't bother. Let your kids play... more

Tourist trap at its worst! Sure, Vallarta is a tourist destination.. but this was just stupid. The natural features are gorgeous, but there are many other trails and swimming holes in the Sierra Madres besides this one. The "Predator Set" memorabilia and pics of Arnold Schwarzenegger all over the place were laughable. The jungle is fenced off almost the entire... more

El Eden is really beautiful and fun....the first time you go. But once you have seen it, its boring. The food is expensive, the water is cold, and if you aren't into water slides or rope swings don't go because that is all there is to do. I haven't done the canopy tour but like i said, all there is... more

My husband and I celbrated my 33rd birthday at El Eden. It was the most fun day of our trip. How many places can you slide down a real waterfall??! And rope swing into the river between courses. I enjoyed the food and drinks, and the prices were very reasonable. Our taxi driver actually waited for us for a very... more

My family with three kids (13, 11, & 9) just returned from a week's trip to PV. Our trip to El Eden was the best excursion we did. We also went to the La Iguana Fiesta (yuck) and the Mariagalante Pirate Ship snorkeling trip (ok). This hot time of year I recommend going early in the day if you wish... more

We would definately go back to El Eden! So what if the road to it was rocky...that made it all the more fun! How often do you get to see "the other side" of Mexico as tourists. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we took advantage of the swimming hole, with the swinging rope and rock slides. We had... more

We hiked to El Eden. Where the Mismaloya river goes under the highway, there is a bus stop with two roads leading inland. The northern road goes uphill to a residential area. The southern road goes downhill through Mismaloya to the river; take this one. Once you are past this initial fork, just always take the uphill road and stay... more

Most of the reviews here are fairly positive about El Eden. However, when I read reviews of people who went on other tours, you get the sense that El Eden is the worst of the bunch. Anybody here have experience with more than one canopy tour and can offer a comparison? more

We decided to travel here after hearing good things about it. The drive there was very scenic, until you reach the main road that takes you to El Eden. The road is all dirt, and rock, and scary at times. When you reach El Eden you know it by taking a look at the big helicopter sitting on top of... more
