A small gallery featuring selections of Oxacan, Huichol, and other native arts and crafts, from some of the best artists. I have always enjoyed browsing and chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable owners (Beatriz and Kevin Simpson) about the arts and crafts they sell. No purchases made during our most recent Vallarta stay (April-May '09), but two Huichol string-art pieces... more

If you are looking for a genuine example of a fair trade cooperative while you are in Puerto Vallarta, don't miss this little store in the downtown area. They have selections of art from virtually all of the surrounding tribes in Jalisco, and beyond. The prices range from 'souvenier' all the way up to 'serious collector'. Some of the tribes... more
