This is the best outfit in Oaxaca for intermediate to expert riders. Carlos (Carl) lives right near some excellent singletrack trails. You take a 15-minute taxi over to his place, where he supplies you with a well-maintained bike. Wanting to explore the country side of Oaxaca, my husband and I decided to hire and guide and mountain bikes for the day. I rode with Carlos twice in November, 2010. The first ride was first class handmade singletrack. A bit of double but wonderful in terms of technical intricacy and stunning views. Mountain Bike Oaxaca offers excellent mountain biking adventures. The bike that I rented from them was a full suspension Santa Cruz and was in excellent shape.
