Tepoztlan is a town in morelos which have a pyramid on the top of the hill. not good for people out of shape because it takes an hour to climb it and another hour to get down . this place is very inclined. they sell beers on the bottom but after 10 minutes climbing you cannot carried them because police... The pyramids are easy to get to from Mexico City. Take the metro to Tasquena and follow the signs to "autobus" There you can purchase a bus ticket to the town of Tepotzlan. The piramide located on top the tepozteco mountain in tepoztlan was built by the Tlahuicas a tribe that paid tribute to the aztec empire. The hike is 2k each way and somehow I think the going up is easier than coming down. It is a bit hard but such a great experience and the reward is the amazing view that you get when you reach the top.
