I've no idea why TravelAdvisor has this on here. It's just not that interesting and it's in the middle of a very busy street. The arch was the western entrance to Guadalajara and was build in the first third of the 20th Century. When built, the locals couldn't believe how far from town they built it. This city is full of public fountains, statues, artistic monuments, but Los Arcos is the most beautiful monument by far. It stands as a grand gateway to the popular Minerva circle as you approach from the historic center. Also, there is a tourist information office in the arch's south pillar. More
