What made this trip so special was, through friends, we were able to arrange a tour not only of the three generations of tequila factories, but also a private tour of the hacienda and its grounds. If one is to visit Herradura, attempt to get as complete a tour as is available.

Wow! What a place, what a tour! Our guide (Saoul) was absolutely excellent. Interesting, informed, genuinely friendly and happy to be providing the tour. The buildings are magnificent. This is a great name in Tequila and visiting the old Hacienda and its buildings and fields is a learning and pleasant experience.

Tequila Herradura has been considered by many to be the gold standard of tequila for years. The process is amazingly simple.
