It's hard to see how a park could be much nicer than Chapultepec -- setting aside the many attractions on the park grounds (including the Castillo, zoo, modern art museum, etc.) There are many nice smaller parks in Mexico City that provide a respite from the busy city scene, but this one is so big that you can practically forget... It is the lung of the city, the top intellectuals in Mexico protect the park raising and donating money for its upkeep. There are 4 very worth while museums in the park. Definitely worth taking a stroll if you have the time. More

One of the few green spaces in Mexico city central. It was largely paved walks, few areas of open lawn to sit down in, constant noise from cafes/stall advertising their food over load speakers. Too many stall for tourists. Green rivers, litter in places. Suggest you spend your time exploring the park's museums rather than the park. More

Chapultepec Park on a Sunday is full of families having a stroll or picnic, folks selling food and stuff, museums, the zoo, etc etc. The largest green space in the city, these trees are doing their best to clear the air of one of the most polluted cities on the planet. There is some garbage, of course, but for the... More

This is another must while visiting Mexico City. This park has an amazing zoo, museums, restaurants, a lake, a castle, an IMAX... It may take more than one day to visit everything, but it's totally worth it. More

On nearly every trip to DF, I visit Chapultepec Park. I find it so large that I carefully choose my destination of interest which usually turns out to be a half day trip. This time, I visited El Fuente de Tlaloc. After getting off the subway at Constituyentes it was no more than a 15 minute walk to this part... More

The park is situated approximately 1km from the Four Seasons Hotel. The avenue that leads to the park is safe and is a great warmup once you arrive at the gates of the park. The park has winding paved trails and is in good condition....beware of the high altitude of Mexico City More

Mexico City is a huge and very busy place. To find such a big and peaceful place to walk in the middle of the city was a pleasant surprise, and there are several interesting monuments and buildings to visit, including Chapultepec Castle. However, the best part for me was sitting in the music garden tucked away behind the castle on... More

This is a must in Mexico City although to experience all of of it would require three days. This park has something --or many things-- for absolutely everyone, and is a delightful and romantic place in which to stroll and spend time.. More

We like to take the tram around the park which brings you to most of the grounds, that way you can save your energy for the Castillo de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Castle) More
