Plan to spend a full day to really enjoy the Museo Anthropologio. The museum is arranged by the chronological history of Mexico, and if you really want to get a feel for Mexico's rich history take your time. There is a very good restaurant within the museum so it's very easy to make a day of your visit More

I was recommended this museum and it was amazing, did not think I would see al the treasures that I did. Plus a great way to understand how the city evolved and what the historic landmarks used to look like. The building is interesting too.... More

This is not a small complex. The museum offers a comprehensive overview of different groups in Mesoamerican history. Signage is often bilingual, but the details shared can be dry. I think much of this would be far more interesting with an interpreter, but I didn't have time for a tour. More

The museum is well layed out to present the different eras and places inhabited by the various tribes . I have to say i got a little confused with all the different tribes but going through it with a guide helped to keep me interested. The guide also pointed out the most important artefacts, whilst linking all the information together.... More

This place is huge! The audio tour desk has a map of the museum with the best rooms highlighted. Unless you have 2-3 days to devote to this location, stick to the recommendations. More

The many rooms of the history of Mexico through the archeological finds and the wonderful displays was fascinating. It would take many hours in many days to thoroughly capture what is presented. It is a must-see for people visiting Mexico. More

This musuem is excellent and has a huge number of displays and collections. I've spent 2 entire days zipping through the exhibits and taking pictures, but feel I'd still need more time to do it justice. You can hit the high points in about an hour, or spend days there. Simply exquisite. More
