If you only have time for one tour, take this one. It is an opportunity to see a part of the city you probably would not go to otherwise. It is great fun to see your taste treats being prepared before your eyes. And the food is so delicious. The guides asked me what I liked best. There was no... More

Natalia, whose English is excellent, led me on an interesting tour of two markets (the upscale market, and the market for regular folk), and street food there and on the way, finishing up with a tasting of a flight of pulque. It was fun, fascinating (Natalia taught me a lot...how her mother prepares grasshopper tacos, that the hard, corn taco... More

I am not sure if there is a better way to see, feel and connect with a new place then through food. Our guides maneuvered us thought the vibrant city with energy and excitement. Each stall carefully selected to give you another taste sensation. You can eat as little or as much as you want at each pit stopped, although... More

I had a great time on my Eat Mexico Market Tour. I learned a lot about Mexican cuisine and its history, and about Mexican culture. Our group went to two different markets and several different street food vendors, and ended with a pulque tasting. I liked the quesadillas with squash blossoms and the fresh fruit juice best, but all the... More

From first finding Eat Mexico's web page we were impressed, the ease of use, professionalism and contact was excellent. Ben made our tour very enjoyable and knowledgable and Leslie was incredibly helpful and easy to deal with organizing the tour. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City. Best burritos ever!!! More

Just back from a fantastic afternoon on the Taco Tour. Jacinto (? spelling) was a friendly, courteous & knowledgable guide. It was hard to choose a favourite, but for me the cochinita & the tacos arabes were the yummiest. An excellent way to spend quality time in Mexico. Now I know what real Mexican food tastes like. My husband and I were taken around Condesa and Roma with Jacinto. We visited 7 different taco shops and also visited the local Roma market. The best taco was the last place so make sure you save room! We were very keen to learn about Mexican cooking so Jacinto also took us to his Mexican Gastronomique Cooking School to try... More

Ben was the perfect guide; fiendly and knowledgeable, speaking perfect English. 2 other lovely couples and I all gone along well and had fun trying different Mexican staples from tamales to fresh tortillas passing by dried worms and deliciously sweet mamey. This was a perfect market experience mixing street food and food markets in Mexico City and ending at a... More

The tour was such a fabulous experience! We stopped at food vendors we would not ordinarily have dreamed of eating from and the food was just amazing! Nathalie our guide was so informative about the city, the food, the people and the history, and answered all our silly questions. But, there was even more fun to be had.....we had our... More
