It has a great wealth in flora and fauna, marvelous caverns and underground cenotes that make it a truly unique place in the Mayan World. The place is designed to hold expeditions and specialized activities such as Rappel, Hiking and Swimming; fun and complete activities. Ta’akbil-Ja is first conceived as such in the beginning of this year and it starts with practice tours in March 2011. The place is now open and running and it is looking to become the best place for practicing tourism of adventure in a very safe and enjoyable way. « less

There not enough praises for this young group. Local guides with natives support. They make the trip really fun. We were 4 couples and almost all of us rappeled upside down, even when it was the first time we were rappeling at all. Super exciting. I loved the tour! The hiking was great with an amazing view, you can see all kinds of birds and trees. The caverns are incredible and the Cenotes are so fresh and nice for swimming, the views of the stalagmites and stalactites wow! To visit the next Cenote we have to make rappel and was sooo great, adrenaline and fear... More
