All the staff cared about was getting you out fast enough to get the next group in $$$. Well worth doing. Get Safety Life Jacket the tightest you can as it will move in water. I kept treading on the water thinking I was going to sink. Guides told me not do that as Dolphins do not like you to move. My jacket kept moving up to my neck so get tightest. Loved the kiss, cuddle and dance...

My boyfriend and I did the couples dolphin swim at the Dreams Hotel in Cancun. It was amazing... he and I swam with the dolphins for a hour! And the pictures we got on cd were great memories (although a little expensive).

My husband and I did a couples swim. We thought it was worth the extra money because you had a full hour of the trainer's undivided attention. We interacted with several dolphins....all were beautiful and very well mannered. At the end of the hour they whisk you into a room where they show the close to 100 pictures they have...

My teenage daughter had a ride with the dolphins at Delphinus in the Xcaret Park 4 years ago; this time she had a ride at the Delphinus at the Dreams Cancun Hotel. Overall, she thought the experience at Xcaret was better because the dolphins there seemed to respond to their trainer better.
