Garrafon Park is absolutely horrible to deal with. We had paid in full using Gray Line Tours for a trip to Garrafon Park for 4 people which cost $360. Hurricaine Ike swept along the Yucatan Coast on 09/10 the day we were supossed to go. The morning started out nice enough but on our trip across to the Island it... more

We went there in mid-July. Not worth it at all. We heard that the Royal Dolphin Swim at Isla was the best so we ended up going. The dolphin experience was pretty good but I'm not sure spending most of the day on Isla was worth it. Since we were already on the island, we went to Garrafon intending to... more

Garrafon was not what we expected. It's beautiful but touristy; Next time we would have done the Dolphin Swim in Cancun so we could have spent half a day at our hotel on the beach. Check beaches before you come -- the erosion is horrible right now and you can't enter the water at some hotels. The Dolphin Royal Swim... more

We took a ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, then took a quick taxi ride to Garrafon Park. The park was not crowded at all, so clean and really beautiful! There was an infinity pool and many hammocks to lounge in. We ate lunch at a little outdoor cafe literally on the cliff overlooking the ocean and had a great... more

Our group of 7 went to Garrafon with the Apple Vacations group. Based on what I heard, it was a great deal. $89 per person for everything (taxis, ferry, all inclusive food and drink for breakfast and lunch, access to every thing at the park etc.). We left from Playa del Carmen and that was the only part of the... more

We spent a day at the park. It was very clean, and the food was good. Unfortunately there were many activities I was looking forward to that were unavailable. Some of these activities were the climbing pole, rope walk, kayaking, and ice cream shop. No one announced to us as we paid our $50 that many of our options were... more

My boyfriend and I went to Garrafon just last week, and we were pretty disappointed. We went by once to find out the cost and were told it was $50. The next day when we returned they said it was $35 for basic use of the facilities, and $50 if you wanted food and drinks included. We did the $35,... more

We were staying on the island and got free tickets to the park for sitting through our hotels time share pitch. I have no bias because I paid nothing. The park is not big but it was very satifying. we relaxed in the small pool with waterfalls, did some snorkeling, hiked down to the point and napped in hammocks, sipped... more

We were lucky enough to go at a time when it was rather empty at the park. For Isla Mujeres it's okay. It's a very small island with lots of shops/markets, but not much else. The beaches of Isla Mujeres are gorgeous, but the reef at this park is not the nicest. Yes it's roped off, but even if it... more
