Yes, it is touristy. Yes, it is a little pricy. But the patio is lovely, the service was very good, and the food was also very good. My advice in any Mexican restaurant, stay with local specialties. In this case Yucatecan or Mexican. Don;t be suckered in to ordering pasta, or anything else international. more

I stayed in Merida for six months and Pancho´s was definitely one of the best places I ate. Delicious food, very good service and I suggest that you order a Mayan coffee, comes with a nice fire show! more

although panchos is definitely for the tourists (all the waiters wear 'traditional' costumes) the food is brilliant. they have happy hour for about 2 hours which is on all drinks. it is a wonderful setting with a separate balcony for large parties and a little area with sofas for those just wanting a drink. there is an indoor seating area... more
