had a brilliant day here - a cross between a zoo, Alton towers and the Eden project. The river that you swim down is amazing - we took out 11 month baby all the way down it in her infatable ring (and a life jacket supplied) and she loved it - so did we! The show in the evening was... more

I have been going to some really amazing places here in Yucatan this last few days (like Yal Ku Lagoon & Playa Paraiso in Tulum), so when I saw what Xcaret was about today I felt ripped off (of money and precious time). The park is ok, it's clean & everything looks nice, but the main attractions included within the... more

This is a theme park totally based on nature. It is a vibrant and alive attraction with many things to do and see. I managed to experience everything the park had to offer in one day except for seeing the native bees, the stingrays and swimming through the caves. If you would like to take full advantage of the park... more

I went for the day with my husband and 3 kids, ages 7, 10, and 12. We booked through the hotel for the Xcaret Plus package, which included admission, snorkeling, locker, towels, and buffet lunch. At about $100 per person, it was quite an expensive day. We saw a few of the zoo-like exhibits, then went into the Plus section... more

We (my husband and I) visited Xcaret on November 22, 2009. To be honest, I'd never heard of it before, but the admission was free with our stay at the resort next door (Occidental Grande Xcaret). Note- the common pronunciation of Xcaret would be spelled ish-ka-rette. It really turned out to be fun! We didn't do any of the water... more

I've just spent the day at Xcaret Eco park , Playa del carmen, and have to say it was brilliant. It is very expensive once you start adding on the optional extras but it really is a place to have amazing experiences. I did the snuba diving which is a combination of snorkelling and scuba diving where you have the... more

We arrived in Cancun Monday morning, we got to our condo, (Salvia Condo) see review if interested, then headed downstairs to see if I could figure out how to get to Xcaret with the least amount of hassle. I was determined to go that day since it was the last day of The Day of the Dead Festival. I am... more

Been to Xcaret beginning November 2009 and paid 129$ for each person + 129$ for my GF to swim with dolphins. The park is highly over-rated and way over-priced. For that price there are really loads of people working for Xcaret just walking around doing nothing. The directions in the park are a joke. Got lost or trying to find... more

We spent a day here with our 8 year old, 6 year old and 3 year old in this HUGE park. The underground river was worth every minute! Life vests are mandatory (for the adults too) so the kids had no problems staying afloat and loved being able to snorkle their way through the caves. There were plenty of fish... more
