A small group of us made our way to Tulum and stayed at Copal/Maya Spa. The beachfront massage was wonderful~I highly recommend it! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, very low key. We stayed in one of the cabanas that dot the sand and jungle labyrinth on the grounds. I was especially fond of the beds that hung from... more

My wife and I recently stayed at Azulik, in Tulum, along the beach road. The resort is part of the Eco-Tulum Resorts and Spa, that includes Copal, Zahra, and the Maya Spa. We enjoy how the properties are linked with paths through the forest, connecting the Copal Resort, and the Maya Spa. During our 8 day stay, we wanted to... more

For a great experience, indulge in the Mayan Bath at Maya Spa. You get a massage and soak in a wooden tub filled with flowers in a private, billowing, white-curtained tent on a rocky cliff overlooking the surf. Unbelievable. But beware that the prices listed on their web site are out of date. They list the price for the Mayan... more

My girlfriends spent a day at the Maya Spa in Tulum and had an amazing time! We all got different treatments. I started off with a Mayan Clay Massage. The treatment is done in one of their beach front huts, so you can feel the breeze and hear the ocean during your treatment. This treatment is essentially a skin treatment... more

I sampled two services at Maya Spa (Copal) and had mixed results. First the good news - The temazcal sweat bath was an interesting experience, but not recommended if you're claustrophobic. I participated with a couple and the wife had to leave after the first quarter (it's divided into four parts of prayers and chants). It's a good way to... more

I have never experienced a massage like I did at Maya-Spa. Maria Luisa was wonderful, and made me feel totally at ease. I wish I could have had more treatments there because it was unbelievable! I would totally recommend this place! I had the "relaxing massage" and it was wonderful! The sound of the ocean crashing and the breeze blowing... more

Can't say enough good things about The Maya Spa, between Cabanas Copa and Azulik s. of Tulum. Wonderful, caring staff, a lovely list of physical therapies, sensous experiences and spiritual entrees to the Mayan mystery. And their Mayan shaman offers an amazing gift of realignment. Check out the website: ----. It's glorious! more

In mid May my wife and I spent five wonderfully relaxing days at the Cabana Copal in Tulum. While there we treated ourselves to the Maya Spa which is on the same grounds as the beautiful, rustic, seaview cabanas that we stayed in. I have been annoyed by persistent aching knees, for many years, caused by degenerative arthritis and decided... more

Hola! My wife Michelle and I went to Mexico for our seventh wedding anniversary and wanted a relaxing but exhilirating vacation. We landed in Cancun and got a taste of the Cancun tourists at the airport - we literally ran for the front door - got on a local bus and headed down a jungle-lined road to Tulum, walked into... more
