We took two families with a total of ten people, child as small as 7, and had a great time. Tomas and the family took great care of us and treated us to a real country experience. Highly recommended. More

The top attraction in San Miguel de Allende has got to be the horse back riding at Rancho Xotolar. To my dying day I will never forget the experience I had, going on horseback at this ranch outside SMA. I don't think that words could ever describe it. We rode horses down rocky paths to the bottom of a canyon.... More

We were a group of 16 (4 families - 8 adults, 8 children). We had a great day milking cows, horseback riding, and enjoying a freshly prepared lunch at the ranch. Tomas, his wife, and other members of his family and ranch crew were very knowledgeable, spoke English well, and the whole day was planned out just right. They accommodated... More

I felt like a cowboy from the past. The scenery is beautiful, they have horses for all levels and the food is good. The best part is owner/ride leader Tomas. More

The ride was just breath taking and no words can discribe the views we saw and how lovely the food (especially the cheese!!) was. Otra vez... Gracias por todo!!... More

What an AMAZING experience! Tomas picked us up at our B&B in San Miguel de Allende for an easy 45 minute drive to his family’s ranch, Xotolar. As soon as arrived, we picked our cowboy hat of choice (must avoid cactus pricklies on the scalp and, hey, it gets you in the cowboy mood!) and get sized up for our... More
