Step back in time and visit the La Mision de San Ignacio. We attended a mass, in Spanish, that was an incredible experience. Beautiful.

After driving through some beautiful desert countryside, take a break and visit San Ignacio. The 100 year old laurel trees surrounding the town square provide the traveler with ample shade and comfort under which to have a relaxing lunch while contemplating the 3 foot walls of the Spanish Mission church that anchors one end of the square. The museum next door has an actual size incredible reproduction of the ancient mural art of Sierra de San Francisco. It has stimulated us to make plans to go there to visit the mural art!
