I have done this trip twice and enjoyed it both times, but honestly I'd prefer now to take a water taxi to Lovers beach and snorkel there. La Princesa offers whale watching cruises among other sails. It's a catamaran which allows it to move faster than the big whale watching boats and get to the whales quicker. August 2009: Staff was attentive. Tour guide said the catamaran was overbooked and it felt it. We were packed like sardines. There is no place to set your drink or food during lunch.
