Unfortunately I can´t speak Spanish, and found after the first 5 minutes of looking at and appreciating the enormity of the mine, that the rest of the tour was wasted on me. You can't go to Zacatecas, Mexico without visiting the Mine of Eden. You take a train down about 2,000 feet and tour an ancient mine that produces silver, gold, and many other minerals. The poor sunburned Germans obviously didn't read Spanish or a tour book or they would have know the tour of the mine is one way. You enter from the side from the teleferico (cable car) and exit on the other side of the hill via a mine train. Or, you enter via the mine train and exit at the teleferico.... more
