La Quemada is a very unique archeological site in Mexico. The style of the constructions is very particular; it seems more mesopotamic than aztec or mayan! The pyramids are located in a hill, where you can watch the surroundings and feel a fresh and a strong wind. If you are visiting Zacatecas, the trip to La Quemada is worth. more

I went to La Quemada last week. It was the highpoint of my trip to central Mexico! I would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys history, archaeology or a good hike! more

My mother is much more familiar with this country. I am planning to go in a couple of months. My grandmother is buried there by her parents side. This is definitely the place to go if you are true to your self and relish peace, otherwise don't bother. more
