The Amparo is a modern and well-laid out Museum of pre-Columbian art with explanations in both Spanish and English, located in downtown Puebla located inside a beautiful old building. Because Puebla is not as frequently visited as Mexico City, the museum was spacious and not overrun at all when I visited in late August (mild climate, by the way). The... more
