great beach break for surfing...considering that is one of the top surfing spots worldwide. if you're a good swimmer or surfer take a look of the yellow or red flag before get in or ask local surfers about the currents. if you're beginner go to la Punta by colectivo or share a taxi. surf up! More

I've been going to Puerto Escondido for the last 10 years to surf with my husband & I love it. The beach is huge, beautiful & very clean. The waves are obviously awesome for surfing but they are making swimming a dangerous andeavour, so be carefull! More
