Late Review(stayed Feb 2005)
This was my first time in Mexico and fell in love with the country... we've been back many times. The Oasis beach is now gone but the memories remain. I truly enjoyed the friendly staff, the clean rooms, the quiet little beach, the the great food & drinks.

I loved it...did not like walking around, to get from beach to restaurants or pool etc...love the guys djs etc they know different language and they were funny.......everybody worked hard there to keep the visitors happy.....if I dont go back there it is because it is a huge place and I am a lazy person when ti comes to vacation...

We had pre-paid reservations at the Oasis Akumal (OA), but when we arrived, they had no rooms, and so gave us a room instead at the Oasis in Puerto Aventuras (OPA). We complained bitterly at the time because we had chosen the Akumal for its reputation for great snorkelling and diving. However, in the end, I have to say I...
