My husband and our two nieces went to Lake Louise ski resort back in March 2009. The resort itself is actually quite nice: it is spacious, the lift prices reasonable (get yourself a Ski Louise card when they are available) and as it seems to be a more regional hill, you don't find yourself facing the crowds you'd find at... more

Great terrain, very challenging for skiers of all levels, nothing but nature (snow, trees, and mountains) no billboards, no power lines, nothing but natural beauty more

Our winter vacation this year was a ski trip to the Banff area. We dont' have mountains and snow like this in the Southeast US, so we were excited to ski on big mountains with good snow conditions. I'd love to give Lake Louise Ski Area a higher rating, but I can't. It has a lot of things going for it: friendly staff, great scenary, nice lodges. The Lake Louise Ski Area is truley a Jem in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. Literally every direction you look at any altitude looks like a postcard picture.
