Great views from the top, we have done this ride both in summer and winter and can recommend. The cafe at the top is reasonable and does a very good coffee to warmy you up. Never had to queue. more

Overcoming our paralyzing fear of heights, my wife and I took the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulfur Mountain, and what a corking experience it was: spectacular views and a very nice visitors' center. We were the first ones in the parking lot on August 2, 2009. Had to sleep in our vehicle for the night. Forgot that it was long weekend. There were no rooms avaliable. The view from the top was spetacular. The mountains leave you speechless. The air is alot different around the mountains. You deffinately get great views of Banff.... more
