I'm moved to write my first review ever because of the incredible adventure my wife and I enjoyed on the 6 day lodge trip. For the first time ever, I just did not want to come back home. The wranglers, cooks, horses, accomodations, and of course the scenery were the most spectacular. Riding was challenging and by day 5 all... more

We just completed the 6-day Sundance/Halfway Lodge trip and it was absolutely spectacular! From the frisky horses, to the gentle, knowledgable wranglers, to the hospitable cooks, and of course the unparalleled beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The entire trip was professionally orchestrated to allow its guests to experience just enough adventure to keep it challenging and interesting, with a HUGE... more

I went on a 5 day tent tour this month. The food was great, the guide knowledgeable and friendly, camp staff attentive, the accommodations primitive but more then adequate for a wilderness trip. It was a real get way and a chance to enjoy mother nature at her best. more

Great fun

My wife and I really enjoyed our day-ride here. The steaks at lunch were delicious, and the guides very helpful and friendly. Although a bit sore at the end of the day, we were very glad for the experience! more

I went for a ride on July 12 2009 with my wife and my son of 13 years old. He had not rode for a long time. We got there early since we just missed the previous group by a few minutes. We sat on benches and read in front of the stables. We received good instructions before the ride.... more

We went on the 3 day lodge trip, but it was mostly riding in the trees. I wished we went on the 5 or 6 day trip where they go up higher on the mountains. Our guide Chris was great, we started off in the rain and he stopped at lunch and made a campfire, cowboy coffee and hot chocolate!... more

Horseback Riding – Getting Back in the Saddle. “It’s like riding a bicycle; I will be galloping away from you before you know it!” Ah false confidence, the making of a man and eventually his downfall. As my girlfriend and I cruised up to the Sundance Canyon trail in Banff, I bragged about my former child career as a show... more

This summer we took part in our second trip with Holiday on horseback and loved every minute of it! We took part in the 6 day Lodge to Lodge trip during the middle of July. The weather was great! Bugs do exist, however, a little bug spray and you dont notice them anymore. Our guides were just as friendly and... more

We did the 6 day lodge trip in early September. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime! I would highly recommend the trip to experienced riders. We however, were inexperienced and the trip was a mix of extreme fun and absolute terror! Day 5 of the trip was a ride up Fatigue Pass which was more like equestrian rock... more

I went with Holiday on Horseback at Warner Stables for the One Hour Spray River Ride. What a beautiful place to go horseback riding! Along the bow river, through tall trees and best of all, through spray river!!! Going through Spray River was the best part, I felt like a real cowgirl! One hour is more than enough. After about... more
