The first night was super bowl night, but we ended up watching the six nations england vs scotland which was a great treat! The second night we watched liverpool vs tottenham and had a lovely cheeseburger! Great service and great atmosphere! More

Dear All, I recently visited Banff and have been there on several other occasions but was disappointed with many aspects of the trip. One thing that annoyed me was our Tour operator had given us an information pack advertising the Pump & Tap as a " British Pub " that specialised in showing English Football, infact we were given an... The P&T is the hang out of choice for Banff's seasonaires. Hidden away on the lower floor of a mall, it's not for the tourists. It's where you can find all the best tips, gossip etc. The decor is a bit faded and it can get a bit rowdy - but see through that to the setting of some of... More

Friendly and warm service. Great drink prices too ! Just like a British pub. Music and TV. You have to check out this great bar located in the Lower Level of the Sundance Mall. There is the main entrance from 215 Banff Ave. and also a back alley entrance (Bear Street alley) when the main entrance is closed (after midnight) More

We live in Banff and had seen an advertisement for a rugby game that we wanted to watch which was going to be shown in the Pump and Tap "pub" we had planned all week to go and watch this game in this particular bar, as no where else in town shows rugby. So we turned up along with other... More

I have been going to the Pump and Tap for 20 yrs now and it's cool as it is the only place in town that has not really changed in 20 yrs, except for new football banners and beverage choices. Small, cheap, friendly and reliable just like a locals pub should be. Great fish and chips right now to from... More

Agree pretty much with the previous reviewer, the Pump & Tap is a nice little place and ideal for a few beers. Having spent a Sunday there watching back-to-back Premiership football matches, I got to meet locals and ex-pats who frequent the place and everyone was friendly and talkative. If I ever return to Banff I'd certainly try to make... More

Fantastic bar, a real local feel with many locals using it as their "local" must mean it is good. Plenty of activities to do, always have English football on their screens when games have been played, friendly welcoming and not a rip off bar unlike many in Banff. Everytime I go to Banff I always make sure I go in... More
