I spent a week at the Bugaboos Lodge in March with my good friend, and I will never forget the amazing people I met, the outstanding service I received, and the absolutely fantastic skiing we all got to enjoy. You start your trip by boarding a helicopter (soon you will be used to this, as you will do this many... More

CMH provides wonderful multi-day guided hiking deep in the mountains of B.C. Hikes are tailored to different abilities, guides are very knowledgeable, lodge is immaculate and very comfortable, food is fantastic, other guests are interesting and fun companions. The trip of a lifetime. More

If you like dramatic scenery and love to hike then this is a wonderful adventure vacation. The Heli part means simply that every day you get transported to the tops of the surrounding mountain ranges and hike from there. The only people you will see are other CMH hikers which is good - however it can also be a bit... More

A unique Place, a great atmosphere of camraderie, and the hiking and sights are incredible! You simply CANNOT take a bad picture ou here! The guides are incredibly knowledable, a combo phd and athlete in one. I learned more while having more fun than I ever could have alone, or even in a group of fellow hikers. Overall an awesome... My buddy and I decided to take the CMH trip at the last second after doing a bit of research online (highly recommend reading 2the NY Times article from 2007 called 'Five-Star Wilderness'). Stayed 3 nights at the Bobbie Burns lodge and signed up for the 'High-Flying Adventure'. Honestly, one of my favorite vacations ever. First, this is truly a... More

First class operation in every detail. Service, friendliness, food, lodging and of course the plentiful helicopter rides to picturesque locations. We stayed at the Bobby burns lodge. It is expensive but you will remember this trip for the rest of your life. Do the via Ferrata, it's not quite as scary as it sounds. highly recommended, we are very likely... More

Helihiking lodge. Great location, spectacular vistas. Nice lodge with very accommodating lodge staff. Structure of hiking groups catered to two large family groups. I wanted to climb the Via Ferrata & have prior rock climbing experience. My guide told me I would be included, but I was excluded, without explanation. All from the larger groups who wanted to climb were... More

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. If our guests are booked as "High Flying Adventure" they are guaranteed to do the Via Ferrata among other mountaineering-type adventures. If our guests are booked under the regular Heli-Hiking program, the via ferrata is subject to availability and is generally offered at the lodge on a... More

Canadian Mountain Holidays was top-notch. We stayed at the Bugaboo's lodge and had a spectacular time heli-hiking in the mountains. The guides were fun and informative, the chef was outstanding and the rest of the staff was fun and a real pleasure to meet. The trip was one of the highlights in my 39 years of life. Planning a trip... More

Heli-hiking allowed us to hike at the top of the mountains. The scenery was dramatic and included the Bugaboo spires, mountains, glaciers, ice caves, glacial lakes, streams and wildflowers. It was very peaceful. The only other people we saw were the other CMH groups. We did not see much wildlife though there was evidence of wildlife. The staff and guides... More
