Visited on Sat. May 19, 2007 evening (though still very bright daylight). Very quiet place with beautiful scenary of the Bow River. The park is part of the neighborhoods of Chinatown and Eau Claire (one of the most beloved and sort-after water-front real estate area). My Mom Dad and I were in Calgary Last year and we had a Picnic in the park and we had Fun. This park is on a fun Island. You can Look at Downtown or Play a fun Game with the kids. I think in summer you can watch a play on the Outdoor stage so check the Newspapers. We... more

The pathway is new and it was gorgeous, ducks and wildlife and little gooslings! Great fauna and a wonderful conservation cause! Great family experience! more
