After having spent many hours at the World of Science in Vancouver we were thrilled to find a similar attraction in Calgary. But it's not nearly the same. Much smaller and dirtier with many areas closed and exhibits that didn't work. The staff members spent time playing among themselves but I didn't see a single one of them speak with... more

This really is a very boring science museum for adults but children seemed to enjoy it. Particularly there was a section for very small children with water-play, a toy shop, large blocks, puzzles and stuff to climb. I'm not convinced they learnt any science though! The rest of the museum seemed to mainly involve pushing buttons with very little explaination... more

I took my 5 year old daughter and she very much enjoyed the time spent there at WOW town. She expecially liked the construction area (bricks that one transfers to a roller system, or the crane to move the sponge bricks to a area). She spent time in the grocery store and went through all the activity centres and liked... more
