This is a great excursion, especially with children. The view of the city from the high level bridge is incredible and it's a step back in time to ride in an original heritage streetcar. It was interesting to hear a bit of the history of the city as we rode along. Well worth the time. More

The old streetcar travels over the High Level bridge between downtown Edmonton on the north side of the river and Old Strathcona on the south side. You get spectacular views of the North Saskatchewan River valley from a dramatic height. It is also a convenient and fun way to get from the Legislative Building and its lovely grounds over to... Crazy. Old street car 200 feet above the river. No barracade. No wiggle room if there is by chance a slow motion derailment. Kind of scary. More

The High Level Bridge is another of Edmonton's most recognizable bridges and attractions. High above the River Valley you can snap amazing photos of a sunset or watch the boats that float down the river. Above the bridge you'll hear the sounds of a Street Car. Travel like they did back in the day in an old Street Car that... More

The high level bridge is located close to the University on the south side and the Alberta Legislature on the north side of the Saskatchewan River. A great view of the river valley and surrounding area. During the summer months an original Trolley car takes you across the HIgh level bridge to give you the feel of steping back in... More
