The food is wonderful and depending on the show you pick the actors are great. Out of about 7 shows I have seen there only 1 was just okay.

The Mayfield Dinner Theatre has a longstanding reputation as Canada’s number one dinner theatre and offers Broadway hits and the most spectacular buffet in Edmonton. Canada’s number one dinner theatre recently completed a $2.5 million facelift. Sure to delight the many loyal patrons of the theatre, the renovation includes acoustic and lighting improvements as well as an expanded culinary program. Thanks to this extensive renovation project, show-goers will be welcomed with a new entrance and lobby as well as layout and technical changes to improve the overall guest experience. Under the direction of Executive Chef Joe Kennedy, the theatre’s culinary program was also included in the up-grade with a new and improved salad and seafood bar, a beef carving station and additional hot entrees and desserts. We look forward to welcoming you!

I would give it less stars if I were just reviewing the meal but the Show was amazing as usual. We went to see Chicago and it really made our trip.
I am not a huge buffet fan but to get there and discover they only have one serving utensil for several trays was disappointing. I have food allergies so...

We attended Chicago. The cast were excellent and well suited for their parts. It is amazing that they can tell this whole story with limited props. Very talented people. The dinner was wonderful and had everything, our favorites were the lobster salad, the yorkshire pudding and the chocolate fountain. Great value for the money.

I keep going back here because it's a casual dining atmosphere with great food and the show is usually good. Most shows have been excellent. When they are not so good, at least the food is great. If you're looking for artsy, it's not here. If it's corny, it's usually on purpose. They don't take themselves too serious. I go...

Seen 'The Wedding Singer' here back in December, & it was Fabulous!!!The meal was top notch for a buffet, the performance was Out of This World, Definitely worth checking out if you're into the Theatre!!

That about sums it up! It's just simply a great place to go. I've been many times - the buffet has more than enough food and variety. The plays range from single person plays to musicals where the stage is full of singers. The view from most tables is really good - although off to the side can be tough....

Attended opening night of the new production this week, and it was fabulous! Excellent food and service. Not a bad seat in the house, and the show was wonderful! Funny, racy and wonderful music!

I found the food average at my show and the service was not up to par for this type of event and cost of ticket. The show was good, the actors sang with every ounce of passion and energy.
