Have driven by it frequently, but finally took the time to visit. After visiting, we've wondered why we didn't do so before. Plenty of neat historical buildings - and the volunteers go to great lengths to be authentic and to explain how things were. Our children were really enthralled with the grain elevator and the blacksmith shop and had the... More

This is a place where if you need something to do on the weekend and not sure where to go. It is a great opportunity to teach Ukrainian culture to your children or youth group. There are actors who truly make you feel like you stepped into a time machine allowing you to get a visual education as well. Make... More

The Ukrainian village is a fun place to visit for an afternoon, just half an hours drive from Edmonton. The town is set up as it would've been when the Ukrainian settled there. Many of the buildings are originals and it appears the people are too. They have a pretty fun job of acting as if they were from a... More

Surprisingly a lot of exhibits considering it isn't very commercialized. Should be more places to sit, eat, and enjoy a sunny day. Great place, but they don't advertise it enough. Could be a real tourist attraction instead of a place for Ukrainian descendents. More

All the employees here seem to be having a great time, and it rubs off on all the guests. Wide open spaces. Authentic period atmosphere, buildings and characters. Traditional (AWESOME) Ukranian food. Very educational, but if you are not going to get an education it is not forced upon you. Beautiful place to stroll down into the what feals like... More

I always enjoy going to Ukranian Village. You get to experience life as it was in the early years. It's a great place for children to "feel" and "smell" farm life. If you've never touched a pig or a cow or smelled inside a barn, this is the place to do it. More

It's a nice place to spend the day whether you're there just for fun or as some sort of cultural learning experience. More

The cast really stays in character. They give the kids a taste of what it was like before Ipads. Loved the schoolroom with the strict teacher in place and separate seating for girls and boys. More

Being from the east coast, I've been to lots of historical villages. We live in Edmonton and Ft. Edmonton Park would be the best choice if you had to pick between the two. The village is small but way too spread out, lots of walking for not much reward. Workers go in and out of character which is confusing. I'm... More
