Just a short drive from Jasper but glad we took time to visit. We were told this was the hottest of the close by hot springs but it didn’t feel hot enough. Unfortunately I think to cater for tourists, the hottest temperature in the pools are around 43C but the original springs are around 54C. However, as a short stop... more

I had wrote in awhile ago how my vehicle had been sprayed with some paint they were using on their cabins. I was going to take action if the matter was not fixed. I want to tell everyone that the problem has been fixed and that the management at Mietter Hot Springs resort paid for us to have it looked... more

Please if you do nothing else while in Jasper go to the hot springs. It's a great drive up to the springs and great sightseeing once there. We stopped after a long drive and boy it just made our trip that much better. more

We spent an hour or so there in mid-July 2008. We were lucky to have OK weather that day (the previous day when we were driving the Icefields Parkway through Jasper, it was snowing - in July) and it was warm enough for us to feel okay about putting on our swim suits and getting it. The hot pools were... more

The features of this hot spring that stand out are a couple of things: - They just completed a really great renovation, so the place seemed very clean and had the “new” feeling to it - The heard of mountain goats that hang out at these hot springs... more

I stayed here for our first anniversary for one night over the past weekend (May 25th). The accommodations were old and somewhat worn-down, but really quite lovely in a rustic way. If you approach this vacation with a "step up from camping" attitude, you won't be disappointed. The location is FANTASTIC, our room was clean and cozy and had a... more

I have stayed in these lovely rustic cabins several times over the years. The setting is magnificent. These cabins are exactly that. Cabins. If you want a luxery resort, Jasper offers this as well. For my sons and myself, we had a great time. Forget the campgrounds and all of the work that camping involves. Daily the firewood is stocked... more

I stayed at this "resort" for two nights. The location was great because it was a short walk to the hot springs, this is ideal if you plan on going numerous times to the hot springs within a given day. My experience with the resort is as follows: Upon opening my door, one could quickly smell that there was gas... more

Decorations were dated and heating was all or nothing - but location, scenery & wildlife were all great! Hotsprings were lovely! Swim suits can be rented too. more
