The hike is awesome; it will get your heart rate up before meeting the summit. Beautiful scenery, make sure you have the correct hiking foot wear, at the top you will be hiking on rocks. more
This is one of those hikes that I make sure to do every season. It IS a bit strenuous, with lots of elevation gain and you must bring plenty of water, as there is no water along the way (assuming you have a pump or water filter - you should not drink untreated water even from pristine-looking streams).
