As everyone has said, this is an easy hike. Literally 100 metres from the parking lot, you come to a series of paved walkways and steps that take you above, across, and below the falls. Just spectacular. Our family made a stop here before arriving in Jasper. We all loved it. The walk is short and doesn't take long - we were there for about 45 minutes. We just love watching waterfalls and rushing waters and this was perfect. more
We stopped here on our way into Jasper. It is located just off the Icefields Parkway not too far from Jasper. The falls were absolutely beautiful! There are walk ways around and over the falls to view them from different angles. Take your camera! more
Must visit this place. I fell in love with Athabasca Falls. Amazing scenery!!! It was so powerful and dynamic. Make sure you explore every single path. more

I not much of one to really appreciate nature much, but I absolutely loved Athabasca Falls. This waterfall opened my eyes to the world of nature. I appreciate it much more now.
