This park is well worth the drive from Kelowna or Vernon. The waterfalls are awesome, especially in the spring! Climbing the 100+ stairs to the top of the falls is a good workout as well. After the hike, drive to the lake, relax and enjoy the scenery! More

There is so much to do and the natural beauty is fantastic. I like the hike to the falls, the beach, the heritage and the awesome ponderosa pine trees. More

We camped at Fintry Provincial Park in one of the group pods as we were with a family reunion. The weather was beautiful! The campsites are nice, evenly spaced. Some are more in the open that others. The beachfront ones are the best. As for the beach, the best swimming area is by the boat launch as it is sandy.... More

We returned to camp at Fintry after a 35 year absence but we waited until school was back in and the reservation system was over. Out of 100 campsites, there were only about 25 occupied while we were there and we had a beautiful, peaceful lakeside campsite. Camsites are very generous in size, well maintained, and the washrooms are very... More

Fintry is a beautiful campground IF you are lucky enough to get one of the 10 waterfront sites. The other 90 or so sites range from bad to worse to horrific. We pulled into Fintry campground at 7pm one July evening (having booked 3 months in advance) and were placed in a site in the middle of a field, infested... More

Given the excellent reviews we visited Fintry on a day trip from Kelowna. The journey is arduous as the road is poor. While the manor house was open the other hstoric buildings were closed for refurbishment. The beach was disappointing compared to others in Kelowna. Having been bitten by mosquitos, we jumped back in the car and went back to... More

We camped at Fintry Provincial Park last summer and found that although this isn't the best campground layout there are lots of things to do. the park is located north of Kelowna on the edge of the lake. We camped away from the water and the spots there are very wide open with little shade and little privacy. Basically you're... More

I found the BC parks website to be spot on with its description of the campsite at Fintry. You essentially get to choose between shade, or privacy. Sites 1-50 are small and tightly packed together, with virtually no barriers between sites. Good for groups perhaps - but not quite what we were looking for. Sites 51-100 were more private, but...
