We enjoyed our visit and I would recommend this museum with caveats. One is that it is difficult to get to without a car. The Museum of Anthropology is pretty small but very educational in learning about 1st Nation (Native Americans in US is 1st Nation in Canada). I also learned a lot about china and ceramics. more

Incredible! First Nations carvings, history, artifacts, this is a world class museum. For what it houses, what you expect , it's on par with the British Museum, London. It is easy to appreciate the significance of the collections at the MOA however, the display of these artifacts is difficult to navigate and for us it was a deterrent to enjoying the museum.
