Granted, Oppenheimer Park is not the prettiest of Vancouver Parks. True, drug deals appear to happen there, and homeless people live there. But then homeless people have to live somewhere in a city that lacks adequate low-cost and rehabilitative accommodation. Oppenheimer Park is the worst park in Canada, let alone BC or Vancouver. This small square of recreational space is a hotbed of drug activityand prostitution. It is dangerous, and should not in any way be considered a tourist destination. The only time that you might want to venture into the worst part of Vancouver to get to the park... More
