UBC Botanical Garden was a great find - a pleasurable educational experience! The espalier examples were the best I've ever seen and very inspirational. So many of the gardens make you think that, yes, you too can do this. An unexpected attraction here was the Greenheart Canopy Walkway that was added just last year. It comes at an extra cost... more

You could spend hours in the garden, easily! There is also a beautiful gift shop, which has all kinds of inspiring things. The botanical garden is beautifully full of all kinds of plants, including the best of the native species. The UBC garden is a must see for any gardener. The fruit and vegetable garden can inspire anyone thinking of growing their own food. Gardeners and botany fans could spend several hours here, in the vegetable garden, the medicinal herb garden, the perennials, the Japanese gardens, etc. Not to mention the well-stocked gift shop.
