We loved the few hours we spent getting lost in the market. So many wonderful smells and independent craft stalls. Definitely a must see even if just window shopping.

The Public Market and surrounding "arty" shops were a wonderful way to spend a drizzly morning/lunch. You can take the ferry over from southwest downtown, or it's a $10 cab ride over the bridge. Start at the Public Market with all the fresh fish, veggies, fruits, and tons of craftspeople and baked goods - I found a man who carves...

If you like to people watch, look at crafts, stroll around, oh, and eat something delicious, this should be your first stop in Vancouver. First, don't just go to Granville Island to buy some veggies, you need to walk around all the other buildings. If its summer time and you have kids, walk towards the East, near the boat house...

Not all that it's cracked up to be. While there are many lovely shops and vendors, the wares aren't as diverse as one would expect. How many bead shops does one market really need? Prices for goods such as produce aren't as cheap as Lonsdale Quay, although the quality is comparable. Plus, there are still vendors who don't seem to...

We have gone to Granville Public Market twice since Saturday and we were completely surprised that it closes at 7 pm. Unfortunately, because we have a course until 5 pm, we are unable to venture to the market any sooner and by the time we get there, it is on the verge of closing with vendors packing their wares and...

This was part of our free half day city tour. Stanley Park was supposed to be the highlight of the tour but we felt this was the real highlight. It would have been even better if we were given more time to have lunch there.

The Granville Public Market was amazing. It was wall to wall meat, restaurants, produce, and shops. I was drooling at almost every turn as I passed all of the different delicacies. There were also several different craft kiosks. I was so jealous that I could not buy a lot of the different food items as I would never have gotten...

Went to Granville Market and was overwhelmed with the choices between sweets to meats. Soups are fantastic and Indian Candy (smoked salmon) is to die for. Pastry displays compare to Brugge and Brussels.
