Visiting Parliment was one of the highlights of our trip to Victoria. The tour was fun and informative and I really liked the character that was there for part of it. The tours start every 20 minutes so there are no long lines or waits here, plus the grounds are beautiful to look at while waiting. more

Wasn't sure if this would work. We have two teenagers. They loved it. The interjection of the historical characters was very entertaining adn the kids loved it. Afterwards lunch in the dining room was terrific. Great value for money and superb food. Definitely worth going for a visit. Please give it a try. more

There is a guided tour that takes about 45 minutes - meets in front of Parliament every hour or so. For those of you interested in architecture or history - then this tour is a good choice. more

Touring Parliament is a "must-do" in Victoria. The architecture is even more interesting on the inside than the exterior. The tour itself is interesting, moves along and is free! If you're on the tour or in the area at lunchtime, the Parliament dining room is an excellent choice for lunch. The food is very good, very reasonably priced and its... more

Besides shopping in the many unique shops, having afternoon tea in "The Empress" Hotel in true English fashion, (a full meal, by the way) on a rainy day you may like to see inside the Parliament Bldgs -there is organized tours of the first two floors, with good narration to explain about the building, the proceedings that occur inside and... more
