The SPCA convicted this dog sled operator of causing unnecessary pain and suffering when Outdoor Adventures of Whistler, B.C. Canada killed more than 100 sled dogs. The news reports carry horrific details of how the dogs panicked and cried as they were shot and stabbed. The reason? Business slowed down after the Winter Olympics. Please stay away from this company. They owner need not gain any more business after having sent orders out to a worker to execute over 100 sled dogs after business slumped. This man who had performed the executions is now suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of his actions. He had blown several heads off and had... More

We recently took a group Dog Sled tour in Whistler. Although our tour was not what we origonally requested, we still managed to have a very excitibg ride. The dogs are wonderful, well treated and loved. We would do this again if given the opportunity. How can you not enjoy a sunny day with handsome athletic creatures pulling you speedily... More

You people must be nuts to book a tour with this company. Do you not recall how they slaughtered 100 sled dogs last year after the Olympics???? Where is your conscience? The dogs were reportedly killed executon style or had thier throat slit while being held down. Oh yes, lets book a tour with these people ....... More

Our family did the 2-hour beginner snowmobile tour. First time anyone in the group has ever driven a snowmobile, and it's not that easy. The group comprised of a guide on her snowmobile and 4 other snowmobiles. We had fun driving around the trail. We stopped at a viewpoint for pictures, and the kids loved playing in the deep, clean,... More

My wife and I did the Dogsled Adventure and it was a blast! The staff at the actual dogsled area were very friendly and helpful. We recommend this to all! The only ting we dont recommend is that you don't buy the pictures or CD of pictures they offer at the end of the trip. We paid $25 plus for... More

We did the ATV lakeside dinner tour with Outdoor Adventures and had an absolutely incredible experience. We lucked out and being the only ones on the tour. Our guide, Jake, was fantastic. As soon as we felt comfortable on the ATV's (our first time ever on them) he let us do some more intermediate/advanced trails. We wanted to see Cougar... More

If you are in good shape and like to challenge yourself, then try the Via Ferrata Mountain climbing on the peak of Whistler Mountain. We booked this through Canadian Outback Adventures, but I think you can book it through several sites. The cost was about $130 (Canadian) for adults and $110 for kids 18 and under. While everyone else takes... More

Outdoor Adventures booked our family of four (two college teenagers) on Eric Pehota's Jet Boat tour of a portion of the Green River, including runs through class-III rapids. The 25-minute drive to and from Pemberton was filled with Eric's lifetime of regional adventure stories. The moment we all heard Eric's 340-horsepower jet boat start up, we knew we were in... More
