We lived in Winnipeg for 8 years and try to return to Grand Beach for summer holidays. We are making the trip once again this summer from Ohio. The beach is clean white sand, people are friendy, weather is hot and sunny what more could you ask for? more
We have a summer home adjacent to Grand Beach and can acess the east end of the beach with a bit of a hike. WOW-the sand is like sugar and the shore is home to all kinds of wild life and birds. On a walk this last weekend we saw deer, beaver, loons and a bald eagle all in one... more
We camped at the provincial park and also enjoyed the beautiful beach. Make sure you visit and stick around for a beautiful sunset on a spectacular beach. The park's reservation system for the campground is great, I wish MN state parks followed their lead. With the system, you pick the site you want with an accurate description of the location. more
