The Imax in Portage Place in downtown Winnipeg has the biggest screen in the city - by far. Much larger than the Imax screen at Polo Park's Ciniplex. It's clean, comfortable and convenient as it is centrally located. Best of all, your underground, heated parkade is free, as the Imax will validate your parking. More

Imax is a great place to see movies in the big screen. You do have to pay for parking in the parkade down below. Keep in mind there is not much else to do at Portage Place other than Imax. The shopping there is poor to say the least. More

IMAX is a fun experience in Winnipeg. Definitely worthwhile if you come from a small town area, because this is quite unique. A bit overpriced, but everyone needs to do it at least once. 3-D shows are fun! More
