This sure isn't a big national park but is offers some great views of the ocean and a nice place to get out and unwind. Lots of camping facilities are available and it offers a great little golf course if you have time for that.

Spent last night in a yurt. It was blowing from the bay but stove kept inside warm for all thee of us and with lights using wind generated electricity it was cozy. Great view and experience

We rented a yurt for a night in early November and packed alot of clothes expecting the yurt to be cold. We were so wrong! The park is a few min. from Alma.The Park is not a very big park,but its easy to see.There are some nice hikes,not to hard. Some have alot of stairs.Some waterfalls.Some places to walk to water,you have to watch the tide. Everythings about the tide out on that coast.

We stayed at Chignecto Campground from Sept 14 - 19. We had a three way serviced camp site.
The staff throughout the park were great. They explained a way for us to save money on this trip and future trips to National Parks in Canada.
The campground was very well maintained. Very quiet. Little to no bugs at any time...

We decided to tour Maine and Canada before heading out west. Fundy National Park is north of St. John, New Brunswick. we stayed in Alma for 3 nights. As we drove through the forest all we kept asking was "Where are the Moose"? As if buy magic out jumps a moose from the willows and starts running down the road...

Spent a few hours touring the Fundy National Park.
We visited just a few spots........
Point Wolfe and walked on the ocean floor, great spot. Good spot to take the family.
The area was very rocky, so ensure you wear proper shoes(running shoes is ok, flip flop might be a bit challenging in the rocky areas).

We spent just 2 days visiting Fundy National Park in July 2011. The weather included some rain, some fog and haze but mostly was pleasant temperatures for hiking the many trails in the park. We attended one ranger program and recommend checking them out.
