At the end of Septemeber we went to Nova Scotia and drove the Cabot Trail. It is beautiful. Unfortunately we were on a tour and did not get to spend as much time as we would have liked to spend on the Cabot Trail. Allow at least two days to experience the wonders of the trail. more

We just returned from our tour of the Cabot Trail driving from Baddeck to Cheticamp on October 7. We had rain the day before and the day after, but on that day we dodged a few raindrops and saw the most amazing scenery. The road goes goes up and down a few mountains and along the coast. Despite some twists... more

The National Park is truely a treasure with spectacular scenery and lots to do if you like camping and hiking. I had been to the Cabot Trail before but this place is so wonderful that I'd like to go again and spend more time. The air was so clean and fresh! We saw one half of the Park in excellent... more

I'm from Muskoka and I've never seen so many moose in one day! Just an amazing place. We camped in Cheticamp and drove the trail a few times. We also went whale watching in Cheticamp and had a great dinner with fantastic East Coast musicians playing. When driving the Cabot Trail, learn to shift down in an automatic when going... more

We just returned from beautiful Nova Scotia. We loved every minute of our trip. We can't wait to return. We fell in love with the people, music and landscape! We will come back and also would love to take in PEI. Just didn't have enough time on this trip. more

Truly a beautiful drive. We had given ourselves three nights in Baddeck to hopefully have good weather on one of the full days we were there. Unfortunately, on day one, we watched the blue skies quickly disappear behind us and by the time we got to Cheticamp (going clockwise) the skies had becoming totally dark and gray. Still it was... more

I live here and know the area . Many do not realize you need more than just a day to travel the Cabot Trail to enjoy all it offers. You have a great coastline, hiking trails, whale watching, salmon fishing. Many venues for celtic music (Cape Breton style). A trip I recommend is to travel from Margaree Harbour area clockwise... more

We are native Nova Scotians and have the privilege of enjoying the beauty and pleasure of riding the Cabot Trail every year. Living in Waverley (just outside Halifax) we still do not tire of the same trip! In fact we rode the Cabot Trail last year 6 times. The outstanding ocean vistas, fabulous climbs and tons of curves just make... more

Rode my big gold-wing motorcycle from Digby, all the way up and down the eastern coast of Nova Scotia, and Cape Breten, and had the most enjoyable trip ever. Great services, and people. Tremendous adventure. Took the ferry over from St. Johns', then returned to Bar Harbor on the CAT! Superb. I need to find a canadien wife, and live... more
