I live here and know the area . Many do not realize you need more than just a day to travel the Cabot Trail to enjoy all it offers. You have a great coastline, hiking trails, whale watching, salmon fishing. Many venues for celtic music (Cape Breton style). The Cabot Trail is the most fantastic drive ever, it has everything, Highlands, Lowlands, rivers, trees, Atlantic Ocean, Northumberland Straight, Whales, Fishing villages, hiking, camping, Wild life. I lost my heart to this wonderful place. A must see, and take lots of film when you go! more
