although a great stop when you are on the beautiful waterfront, many of the shops are closign which is disappointing to see. Still worth a peek! More

Yikes. Dull. As the old saying goes you could shoot a cannon ... not much to attract you here. Couple of OK restos.(Salty's was good) The Ferry is next door. Lots of tourist joints. Other than that ... More

Too many shop fronts are empty. The book shop is delightful to drop in - enthusiastic shopkeeper there. If 2 by Sea is okay...pretty good if you don't mind the price (kinda high!) Historic Properties is one of the things that makes Halifax so unique and interesting. It's in a great location to just walk around, right on the boardwalk and close to everything. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants here too. More
