A fascinating picture of Halifax's connection with maritime. We were able to access the Titanic memorial exhibition which was very well presented. The staff were courteous and helpful More

So, centennial of the Titanic disaster. Some good stuff in the museum, yes. But unless you have a real interest in ship-wrecks, there's not that much here to grab you. She liked the mini-piano, and we learned a lot about Cable Ships ... and the original 'internet'. (??) FYI, Cable Ships laid cable across the Atlantic, etc. for communications. Lots... More

Very reasonable entrance fee and... More

I was taking one of the two Titanic cruises (the one from New York) and one of the highlights was the stop in Halifax. I originally planned to spend more time at the cemetaries but found this museum to be fascinating. I enjoyed all the various exhibits not only those focused on Titanic. It is an excellent value for money... More

This museum is fantastic. Located on the Halifax waterfront. 2 to 3 hrs will be a good time frame to allow for a visit to this museum for those with just a general interest. Titanic, Halifax Explosion, Warships, passenger liners fishing vessels are just a few of the items on display. More
